Alexis Altamirano

I am the school's registered nurse, and this is my first year doing school nursing! I have been a nurse for about 3.5 years, with experience as an LVN for 3 years working on mental health and medical-surgical floors before moving to the school site setting. I completed my nursing degree last fall and have been doing school nursing since March 2026.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, running, hiking, and spending time with my dog and family. You can also find me on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland enjoying popcorn and a crisp Diet Coke!

I look forward to being an advocate for the students I have the privilege of serving in SAUSD, promoting healthy habits, and making my office a safe space for everyone! ❤️
