Angela Bahena

I am excited to serve as a high school counselor and begin my 6th year in school counseling and 10th year working for Santa Ana Unified. As a Santa Ana native and proud alumna of Godinez Fundamental High School, I am passionate about giving back to the community that helped shape me. I earned my undergraduate degree from California State University, Long Beach and my Master in Education degree from Azusa Pacific University.

I am committed to supporting students in achieving their academic, college and career, and personal goals while helping them recognize their strengths and potential. I value building strong relationships with students, families, and staff to create a supportive environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.

Outside of work, I enjoy DIY projects, crafting, baking, cooking, Disneyland, taking nature walks with my dog Benito, and spending quality time with family and friends.
