English Teacher

Dolores Huerta High School

My name is Kayla Bruner, and I teach English at all levels here at Dolores Huerta High School. While it is my first year at Huerta HS, it's my sixth in the Santa Ana Unified School District, and I love our schools, families, and communities.

I have a teaching credential from California State University, Long Beach, as well as a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction - English Language Arts. I'm a devoted reader, and my favorite books are usually science fiction and fantasy. I have a cat named Rambo.
