Our story is rooted in opportunity, service, and the belief that every student deserves a path to success. Established in Santa Ana in 1994 as an alternative high school, our school was created to provide students with a supportive environment where they could overcome challenges and work toward their goals.
In 2026, our school was renamed Dolores Huerta High School, honoring her lifelong commitment to equity, perseverance, civic engagement, and advocacy for others. While our name has changed, our purpose remains the same: to support every student, believe in their potential, and prepare them to succeed in school, in their communities, and beyond.

Free Summer Meals Now Available Across SAUSD
SAUSD’s Summer Meals Program is now underway, providing free breakfast and lunch to youth 18 and under, as well as eligible adults with disabilities.
With more than 60 locations across the District, families can access nutritious meals throughout the summer at convenient neighborhood sites.
Community members are encouraged to visit a nearby location and take advantage of this valuable resource.
